HI Beach takes the form of three beach-spaces, like three different ways of discovering the pleasure of being at the beach.
Three spaces, three moments of life.
HI beach proposes interiors or protected spaces in free access that will allow people to share time with each other: a bar, a restaurant a communal area to relax with a large screen lcd television, books, magazines, newspapers, computers.
The spaces are conceived to respond to different rhythms: spend an all day family moment or just for a quick coffee break, either alone or with friends...HI beach will adapt to everyone's wishes and will introduce an online reservation service, that does not exist anywhere else, where people can reserve their deck chairs on line.
In the evening, between 6.00 and 9.00 pm Hi beach proposes festive aperitifs with a wide selection
of music from world music to jazz, for relaxing and social moments.
With Hi beach, the beach will become a way of living, simple and cordial between the sea and the city.
Resolutely contemporary, this new place takes also into account the local specificities of the town
And to follow the HI hotel example who has acquired the Green Globe label, the Hi beach will prove its attachment to ecological values with concrete actions: mostly organic products for the restaurant, solar showers, ecological cleaning products, recycle bins on the beach, selective refuse of paper, recycling of materials...
Five years after the opening of Hi Hotel, a hotel based on a convivial, legible and soft approach of contemporary luxury. Patrick Elouarghi and Philippe Chapelet once again teamed up with matali crasset to create HI beach, an innovative concept that reconciles the simplicity of the pleasures of the beach and the seaside.
As they did for the Hi hotel, the trio has developed a new logic of spaces, a beach where each of us will find their own rhythm and well being.
During the day, Hi beach is a complete balneal space which offers high standard services on an exceptional site.
HI beach will have three areas and three ways of rediscovering the enjoyment of the beach. HI beach proposes interiors or protected spaces in free access that will allow people to share time with each other: a bar, a restaurant, a communal area to relax with a large lcd screen television, books, magazines, newspapers and computers...
The whole beach has wireless connexion. A musical atmosphere will evolve through the day, broadcasted on the HI radio
and is programmed by the label Kompakt.
Seaside activities with: diving masks, snorkels, rubber rings, balls...
This area is an invitation for well-being and relaxation. Partly protected by a bamboo curtain, circled by wood and plants, in a calm and intimate atmosphere, HI relax is an invitation to a change of scenery. The mattresses are particularly relaxing and are sanctuaries and favour moments of calmness. Menu of the day: napping, reading and dreaming. For those who wish even more privacy and sweet torpor, in the shadow and in three reading huts are available. An area created for a complete relaxation experience.
Not far away is a small path that leads you to the HI body area, dedicated to massages and yoga.
This area is an invitation for well being and relaxation.

An upmarket cuisine HI beach has a simple yet high standards cuisine. Each area has a choice of dishes, light, dietetic and organic. Based on a light version of a chic” brasserie” style, the chef created his own version of well known classics.
Also available a snack menu on the beach: sugared or salted.

Considered for its innovative character the “HI shop” allows customers to buy all kinds of products related to the hotel’s atmosphere. Hi became the first hotel to produce a music album under its own label HI-print: HI!H by Frédéric Galliano.
Frédéric Galliano is a music passionate since his teenage days. At that time he had already acquired a wide cultural musical taste, such as Latino, jazz and Kraftwerk’s electronic preludes at the end of the 70’s.> Cliquez ici pour la suite
In the meantime, he was learning drums and piano, and started building an interest in African and Oriental music. His curiosity has no limits and he is interested in worldwide musicology which makes him a very special artist on the electronic scene.
He became a Dj by chance after he stood in for someone one night in a night club. His musical culture rapidly made him famous but his carrier really took off during the very popular parties “à la poursuite de la 13e note” and also because people could hear some of his remixes: “what’s up” in 1996 and “la yellow connection” in 1997.
To compose the album, Frédéric Galliano came as a resident artist at the HI hotel and his inspiration came from the different atmospheres he felt in every room and concepts as well as the communal areas. Every area of the hotel corresponds to a special feeling that was translated into music.
The album is composed of 9 tracks corresponding to the 9 concepts and 3 tracks for the communal areas of the hotel such as the happy bar, or the restaurant.
The album was launched in March 2008 after 2 years of work. It is sold in selected shops such as “lieu commun” and “Colette” in Paris.
Frédéric Galliano celebrated the launch of his album by playing at the HI hotel’s happy bar on May 9th 2008.
With TOTAL 14, our extremely popular compilation series returns to the fore after its sabbatical in 2013; a well-needed break from the routine that was put to good use, resulting in one of the most riveting instalments in the series yet. As with every compilation, our selection for TOTAL 14 has to meet the high demands of a perfect mixtape - you'll need some bangers on there, don't forget the atmospheric lot, keep the story arc in mind... the formula isn't too complicated, but we think we nailed it big time, thanks to a particularly strong line-up showcasing both the best sellers and the personal favorites of the last two label years. What's most striking, however, is how a pool of artists as distinct as COMA, THOMAS FEHLMANN, SEBASTIEN BOUCHET, DJ TENNIS or GUSGUS can find harmony in diversity, with a cut such as MACEO PLEX's glamourous prime time stomper CONJURE SUPERSTAR leading to the delicate nostalgia of WEVAL's SOMETHING in the most natural manner.
